Build the buffer
Ever wondered how some bloggers never skip a day? From the distance it might seem they are superhuman: they have great discipline and infinite imagination on demand.
The reality is not as perfect. I cannot say for others, but for me I have came up with a strategy that allows me to never skip a day. It is simple, really.
You don’t have to write every day. But make sure to post daily.
How to achieve that? Have a buffer.
If you have written before you are probably familiar with a situation that on a good day you can easily write multiple posts. Ideas flow out of your mind freely. Use this to build a buffer.
You don’t need to post all of your ideas the moment they arrive — postpone them. Keep them tucked away for a “rainy day”. And that day will surely come, for it is almost impossible to keep up perfect creativity daily.
Build the buffer. Use it later.
These ideas are still genuine, because you write them.
